40 jobs are rumoured to be likely to
be lost in Guernsey as HSBC Securities Services announces cuts in its fund
administration arm. The move follows outsourcing
of business to Ireland and Luxembourg.
HSBC confirmed yesterday that it was
restructuring its fund administration business, but did not confirm the number
of job losses, and denied that it was pulling out of the island altogether.
